First founded in 1920, Palladium originally produced tyres for the aviation industry, switching their focus from the skies to the ground by opennig their first footwear plant in Pont De Chury aiming to produce footwear as hardwearing as their tyres. The creation of their signature style, the pampa boot (avaliable here at Tinfish!) in 1947 saw the brand adopted by the French foriegn legion who were so impressed with the durability of Palladium boots that they put them to the test in the desert regions of North Africa. Today, Palladium retains its strong sense of utility, and the classic shapes of their boots make Palladiums a great choice in urban streetwear.
